Al-Qaeda Terrorists Will use Exploding Dogs To Bomb Planes?

Posted on 10 November 2010 by pinoytutorial

Now you know how sick terrorists can be.

Al-Qaeda terrorists planned to bring down a US cargo plane last 2008 using dogs that had bombs planted in their stomachs. The dogs, called Kamikaze canines, were supposed to board the plane from the Baghdad International Airport to Los Angeles, but never made it because they died in their cages before loading.

Cargo handlers saw the two dogs already dead in their cages and brought it to the autopsy. They found out there were bombs and explosives in the dogs’ stomachs and was due to explode hours after it departed from Baghdad, in mid-air.

According to the investigation, it looked like the terrorists took the two stray dogs from the streets of Baghdad, then were cruelly cut open to put the bombs and detonators inside their stomachs. But it turned out that the dogs could not handle the substances from the bombs as well as being cut open, and died before they could even be loaded in the plane.

According to the paper, French Daily Le Figaro, they got this information from a US military man, right after one of the two bombs from Yemen was discovered inside a printer ink cartridge in Britain’s East Midlands airport last week. The device was said to be diffused 17 minutes before it was about to explode.

The dog bombs incident was investigated by the International Civil Aviation Organization. Due to what happened, airlines and cargo companies were alerted about exploding dogs as terrorists would do everything to spread terrorism.

“This happened two years ago, but was kept secret from the public”, according to the paper.

According also to the French terrorism expert, Christopher Naudin, there is also the possibility that terrorists will be using children that have explosives in their body in order to destroy aircrafts. “Airlines and airports should be alerted” about this kind of situation and should tighten security when it comes to checking of pets and people. And because of this dog bombs incident, US officials were forced pick out the 1 million stray dogs in Baghdad.

This kind of action just shows how determined Al-Qaeda is to terrorize people and show them how powerful they are. It’s actually sick that the terrorists would use dogs, a man’s best friend, for destruction and death. These animals are more innocent than us humans, and they don’t deserve to be treated so cruelly. This is indeed cruelty to animals and the people doing this should be condemned. I am a dog lover, and just hearing about this makes me want to cry because those poor dogs have to die in order to save us, and had to suffer just because some sick terrorists wants to kill innocent people. How sick can you get.

Smallest Violin In The World: The Nano Violin

Posted on 08 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

Science and technology had given us a lot to prove itself. One of these proofs is the invention of MEMS or microelectromechanical systems. It may sound Geeky and unfamiliar to normal people like you, but you might actually have such thing in your own mobile phone. Just taking from the word “micro” itself, it means small—really small. And now, a news of yet another MEMS should be of interest to you, Science fan—the Nano Violin, also called the Micronium.

The Micronium is the smallest violin in the world (right now, at least). With measurements of only some micrometers, nothing could beat it for being the smallest violin indeed. It has strings sized just one-tenth of a human hair’s width, and should be strummed using an equally micro sized comb.

Six microscopic springs are fitted on a microchip with one resonator each for every musical tone. Numerous chips are strung collectively to create a complete series of musical notes. A sequence of the chips can be united into a MIDI interface to play whole songs.

Scientists and students from the University of Twente in Netherlands demonstrated how the micro violin is used, and how its music could possibly heard by audiences. The collection of chips was connected to a computer and was put under a microscope. The microscope was used to magnify how the violin’s strings are being plucked. The image was then projected so the audiences would see.

Using the Micronium, an original composition was played, frankly entitled “Impromptu No. 1 for Micronium.” Then several more familiar songs were played, including none other than the famous Super Mario Brothers’ theme.

However, just like the fact that it has to be magnified under a microscope for audiences to be able to see the actual micro-violin, the sound it produces must be amplified just as well—10,000 times for that matter before people could here the music it produces through the standard speakers that we use.

It is still a wonder if this should be out in the market any soon—it is more of a wonder if any orchestra musician would actually want one for himself. But what matters is that this Nano violin is for real, and there seems to be nothing impossible nowadays.

Japanese Toilet Prank on Porta Potty: Voyeurism Video!

Posted on 04 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

We all know that Japan is the source of all the craziest reality game shows of all time. Such a small country but their people could just brew something out from their minds about some of the most obnoxious and abnormal things a normal guy can’t possibly think of.  Don’t believe me? Check it out!

This video has been uploaded in the tube for 4 years now. And as the excerpt from the uploader states, “This video cuts through all language barrier” And frankly, we quite agree. I mean, even a 5 year old kid would understand that any person caught in the public sh*tting with their pants off is just totally hilarious!

Now this portable toilet (porta potty) prank was obviously staged. I mean, if it wasn’t planned at all then this video shouldn’t even be existing. C’mon, what would you do if you’re in the shoes of these poor citizens knowing someone filmed you while you’re sh*tting? Then a hydraulic pump pushes your toilet up so you can be seen by the public?

If I am on that situation, I will rip the video and put it on the mouth of this Japanese iPad guy and make him squeal like a creepy Japanese robotic-mouth. — I’m just saying!

Oh if you think that wasn’t enough. Here’s a woman caught on a video while she’s concentrating in her throne.

Fake or not?

Paranormal Activity 2 Review (sucks): Most Overrated Movie Of All Time?

Posted on 03 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

Last year, I got all my hopes up on watching Paranormal Activity. I thought it was going to be the best horror movie at that time but it turns out it was nothing but pure BS and the only reason why it got the proper attention is because of the media inflating it and have it being reported across the blogosphere.

And to my disbelief, it will have another sequel called ‘Paranormal Activity 2’ which will be this time aired throughout USA on October 22. And their tactics to attract the audience seems to become even lamer.

Somehow you might be thinking I am just bitter about this movie, but come to think of it. Many were quite disappointed as well about the way the whole movie was presented. I remember watching the first part on the eve of October 31 at (1:30am) let’s just say I am a firm believer about that folk-lore pertaining to ghost which appears to be the strongest whenever its 3am on the eve of Halloween. I turned off the lights and play it on my LCD TV. After one hour of watching and seeing the tracker already nearing the end, I was in utter disbelief that this was the real horror movie everyone was raving about. So I still spend a couple of more minutes just to finish its lame ending to watch another horror movie to complete my Halloween eve.

The production staff of Paranormal Acitivity 2 is obviously doing this just for money. Come to think of it, not only this movie is one of the worst horror movie of all time but the most overrated movie as well. Its staff should be very please with its results; Using only those banal effects and crude camera they manage to persuade people that this movie was a perfection. Thanks for the excessive coverage of the media and inundating the web with its advertisement, they earn as much as $108 million at the U.S. box office and $194 million worldwide. Making this movie as one of the most profitable film of all time.

Let’s see if many people will still be fooled on watching Paranormal Activity 2. Remember you have been warned.

Bra Gas Mask for Sale: Best or Worst?

Posted on 27 September 2010 by pinoytutorial

Now here’s undeniably something that could make you gasp out a “What?!” But don’t get us wrong, we’re not just making this up, because these bra gas masks are real—question is, will it be here to stay?

Various illnesses such as Swine Flu and national dangers such as alleged biological war fares had made gas masks so popular—in quite a negative way, because you know, when there’s a need for gas masks, there’s a threat somewhere. And you wouldn’t know when such emergencies would come. For the extra cautious individuals, it probably won’t matter to have a traditional gas mask handy. But for those who don’t want to catch too much attention and be labeled as too paranoid, but still want to have something in case of an emergency then maybe they could consider the bra gas masks to save their noses (talk about discreet, huh?).

The bra gas masks should not be underestimated for it is actually an award winning piece of underwear—or rather, a public health item. Invented by Dr. Elena Bodnar of Illinois together with two others, Raphael Lee and Sandra Marijan of Chicago, the brassiere cum gas masks won the 2009 Ig Nobel Prize in the Public Health category. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Ig Nobel Prize is supposed to recognize the science inventions that could make us innocent people think and laugh at the same time. Now, the brassiere is up for grabs with the price tag of $29.95.

How could it exactly save your life in case of a biological war fare strike (or in case someone lets out gas so strong that you think you’ll just die merely smelling its vapor)? If you’re wearing it, you just need the talent to pull it out from the inside of your top. Then, once the bra is removed, its cups could be worn as two separate gas masks (so one for you, one for your boyfriend, or that hot guy in the subway whose number you’ve been wanting to get). Cover your nose and mouth with the brassiere cup, then pull the strap around your head and lock it. Now, you can breathe safely. And oh, you may want to put on a nice cologne, perfume or lotion before wearing it for a more pleasant breathing experience.

It is weird indeed. And you might be thinking “no way I’m gonna use a bra as a gas mask” or “I’m not yet that dumb” but come on, in case a real bio war fare should really strike, no one would really care if you’re wearing a rug or a bra against your nose and mouth just to save your life.

For a live demo of how the emergency bra mask works, watch this clip:

Adolf Hitler Was A Jew and African?

Posted on 29 August 2010 by pinoytutorial

Some DNA tests have revealed that Adolf Hitler may have Jewish and African roots. The German Dictator, Adolf Hitler has been known to be a person who greatly hates these people.

Apparently, saliva samples were taken from 39 of the German’s dictator relatives which included his cousin named Norbert H who was an Austrian farmer and a grand nephew named Alexander Stuart-Houston, an American. According to a Belgian news magazine, the results revealed by the said samples strongly suggest that Hitler most probably descended from Jewish and North African people.

Journalist Jean-Paul Mulders and known historian Marc Vermeeren were behind these DNA testing which they conducted earlier this year. Mulders and Vermeeren have managed to get a sample of Hitler’s DNA by following Stuart-Houston for almost a week. Stuart-Houston accidentally dropped a used napkin on the ground and the duo took the samples from that. Accordingly, the DNA on the napkin has led them to more of Hitler’s relatives from Europe to America.

In the series of DNA tests conducted, a chromosome called “Haplopgroup E1b1b” was found. This chromosome during Hitler’s time was very rare among German people as well as those living in Western Europe. According to Vermeeren, this chromosome is commonly found in Morocco, Algeria, Libya, and Tunisia as well as Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews.

The result is quite surprising, although this is not actually the first time that historians suggested that Adolf Hitler has Jewish roots. His father was actually rumored to be the illegitimate child of a maid and a 19-year old Jewish man named Frankenberger. Some historians believed that Hitler knew this fact, but has done everything he can to conceal the truth.

The Daily Mail also reported that the said DNA tests was conducted under strict laboratory conditions in order to make sure that the results generated will not be compromised. So there is great possibility that the DNA results are really accurate enough and may have actually revealed Hitler’s real ancestral roots.

Hitler may not have been pleased with these results since these are the same people he greatly despised. Although it is quite interesting to know how this information will affect both supporters and opponents of the German dictator.

Some people may find it hard to believe that the German dictator Adolf Hitler may actually have Jewish and African blood running in his roots. Adolf Hitler’s ancestry has been questioned for so many decades now and this might give some clarifications. So what can the Jewish and African people say about this? It is really quite interesting to know.

God Number Is Now 20: How Did Google Solve it?

Posted on 17 August 2010 by pinoytutorial

Two long years Rubik’s cube fans have been dazed with the God’s number 22 (as made possible by Tomas Rokicki and John Welborn in August, 2008) and believed that the puzzle has been solved the fastest way that one could—and so they thought.

Every Rubik’s solver uses algorithms in order to solve the mind-spinning cube puzzle. There are algorithms that use sequences that solves the top face of the cube, some use sequences to fix the middle portion, and so on. There are a lot of algorithms that may differ in complexity and the number of moves it requires.

God Himself must have a better, easier and faster algorithm in which to solve the Cube. And this is where the term “God’s algorithm” came from, and the number of moves it would require to solve a really difficult positioning of the puzzle is called “God’s number.”

And yes, thanks to Google’s computers, the newest God’s number is now 20.

For about 35 CPU-years of inactive computer time provided by Google, researchers have eventually solved all the possible positions of the Rubik’s cube, and they proved that each one of these positions could be solved in no less than twenty moves!

But how did they exactly do it?

They divided the positions into 2,217,093,120 sets of 19,508,428,800 each then decreased the count of sets they needed to work out to 55,882,296 utilizing symmetry and set covering. However, they did not find ultimate solutions to each position but instead they found solutions of length 20 or less. Then, they recorded the program that solved one set for about 20 seconds. Ultimately, Google has used 35 CPU years in order to find the solutions to all positions in each of the 55,882,296 sets.

Still sound complicated? Here’s how they did the partitioning part. They broke the trouble down into 2,217,093,120 smaller troubles. Each of these comprised 19,508,428,800 different positions. These smaller troubles were small enough to fit in a modern PC’s memory, and the way Google has broken it down made it possible for them to solve every set faster.

It is said that if you take a mixed up Cube and position it upside down, you will not make it any more difficult—it will still also take the same number of moves to bring to original position again. Instead of trying to find a solution to both of those positions, you can actually solve just one.

Now Rubik patrons could have another God’s number to focus on to. And it’s not 22—but a whopping God’s number 20!

Juno Armored Tank For Jupiter: Is the Toughest One On The Planet!

Posted on 14 August 2010 by pinoytutorial

NASA is attempting another exploration to Jupiter by launching an armored tank to its orbit. Since 1973 when Pioneer 10 has arrived to Jupiter, NASA is conducting several space expeditions to observe Jupiter’s environment. The Galileo spacecraft is the only one to have actually entered an orbit around Jupiter. Sending a vessel to Jupiter involves many technical difficulties. One major problem is that there’s no solid surface on which to land, and another problem is the planet’s huge amount of radiation.

The armored-tank spacecraft named Juno will be sent to Jupiter’s polar orbit to study its system and unveil the planet’s mysteries. Specifically NASA is trying to determine how much water is in Jupiter’s atmosphere. They also want to measure Jupiter’s atmosphere composition, temperature, cloud motions and other properties. They want to map Jupiter’s magnetic and gravity fields and to explore and study Jupiter’s magnetosphere, providing new insights on how the planet’s huge magnetic force field is affecting its atmosphere.

It is said that the environment Juno will be facing has more radiation than any other place NASA has ever sent a spacecraft except for the Sun. There’s an invisible force field filled with high-energy particles surrounding Jupiter and its moons. This magnetic force field is caused by Jupiter’s magnetosphere, the largest and most powerful of any planetary magnetosphere in the solar system. The action of the magnetosphere traps and accelerates particles, producing intense belts of radiation. The radiation belts of Jupiter are shaped like a huge doughnut around the planet’s equatorial region extend out past its moon Europa, and about 650,000 kilometers out from the top of Jupiter’s clouds.

How will Juno survive all that radiation? Here’s their plan, they designed and built a special radiation vault made of titanium to protect Juno’s brain and heart, the command and data handling box (its brain) and power and data distribution unit (its heart), and about 20 other electronic assemblies. The whole vault weighs about 200 kilograms. The vault is not designed to block all particles hitting the system, but it can dramatically slow down the aging effect, radiation has on its electronics for the duration of the mission. Juno isn’t relying exclusively on the radiation vault. Scientists designed a path to Jupiter that minimizes the exposure of Juno from harsh radiation belts.

Once the whole spacecraft is put together it will undergo further testing. The assembly and testing process, which includes installing of solar panels, is expected to last until May next year. The spacecraft is due to launch in August 2011 and has a 5-year cruise, arriving at July 2016.

Dongfeng 21D Chinese Missile Is Ready For The Apocalypse!

Posted on 08 August 2010 by pinoytutorial

Over the years America has been dominating the air as well as the seas with its vast number of fighter jets and unbeatable carrier fleet. No other nation has been successful to beat its super carriers and fighter jets over the past decades. But with China’s development of the Dongfeng 21D Chinese Missiles, things are expected to change now.

The DongFeng 21D is a missile that could be launched from land and has the ability of accurately hitting and destroying moving super carriers up to more than 900 miles away. Basically, it is anti-ship ballistic missile and said to be the first of its kind in the world. The DongFeng 21D is the latest from China’s DongFeng 21 which apparently is a two–stage propellant as well as single-warhead medium range ballistic missile system developed by China Changfeng Mechanics and Electronics Technology Academy.

The DF 21 is originally created for strategic missions, but later versions turns out to be designed for both nuclear as well as conventional missions. And apparently, the DongFeng 21D is the latest variant from the DF 21 system and according to some reports China is still in the process of perfecting the 21D and final testing of the missile is scheduled by the end of this year.

The development of DongFeng 21D could transform China’s position in the Pacific balance of power and could significantly weaken Washington’s ability to interfere in any conflict between Taiwan and North Korea. With the DongFeng 21 D, US ships will also find some difficulty to get to international waters near China. Beijing has been widely vocal with its demand for the US to stay away from China’s territorial waters.

But some experts find it a little doubtful for China’s ability to perfect the Dongfeng 21D specifically pertaining to having that kind of accuracy in hitting a moving super carrier. And despite China’s effort, it would take some time for China to be able to catch up against US carriers.

A version of the Dongfeng 21D missile has been shown in the Chinese military parade held last year. If the Dongfeng 21 D could really do what it promises to do, even if it will not really match up the amazing fleet US has, US will still find it difficult to penetrate the international waters near its territory.

How long will it take for China to perfect the Dongfeng 21D? Will the Dongfeng 21D give China the ultimate power in the Pacific region? These questions are yet to be answered.

Internet Addicts Are More Prone To Depression?

Posted on 08 August 2010 by pinoytutorial

Internet has made its way into most of our house today. It is a valuable asset for research, news, communication, leisure and learning. With online video games, social networking sites, chat rooms, everyone especially the teenagers are getting addicted to it. Unfortunately, internet surfing can be a very bad habit.

Internet addiction is a very destructive problem faced by many teenagers today. Spending too much time with the internet can prevent teenagers from social and educational progress. Additionally, severe addiction to online surfing can distract one person from performing his/her responsibilities.

A research in china showed that internet-addict teens are more likely to develop depression. The study involved 1,041 teenagers who are free from depression at the start of the research. 9 months later their psychological states were reassessed. Researchers found out that 84 of them were suffering from depression and those who were excessive internet users were one-and-a-half times more prone than moderate users.

Researchers believed that the reasons behind the depression were the direct effect of lack of sleep due to late night surfing and stress from playing online games. The result suggests that a normal teenager free from mental health problems, but uses the internet excessively could develop depression in the long run.

According to the background information of the study, pathological use of the internet is identified as a problematic behavior with signs and symptoms similar to those of other addictions. In other studies, they found out that teenage boys are usually the pathological user of the internet, but the author said that the number of girls who shows addictive internet behavior is on the rise.

Internet is a two-edged sword; it can have both favorable and unfavorable consequences. The internet is a great place for learning and researching new things. And though it is considered a safe and easy way of keeping in touch with friends and family, it’s very clear that internet addiction is a very bad and unhealthy habit. It can promote a sedentary lifestyle that might lead to other illnesses -aside from depression.

Furthermore, it limits the social growth of a person, depriving a person to experience new things and to spend time with family and loved-ones. It can also expose teenagers in horrific activities like sex and drug-addiction. With these favorable and unfavorable consequences, it is important that we fully understand the risks and dangers of the internet for us to find a well-balanced real and virtual life.
