Bode Miller Gold Medalist hits another gold medal in Alpine Skiing Men’s Super Combined. The super combined category gives Bode Miller his third Olympic medal of the games. He already won both a Bronze and a silver medal, and now Miller is a certified gold medal winning Olympian. American still brings home the gold even though NBC did not disclose the men’s super combined medal event today.

Miller is just one of the US Ski team along with s Lindsey Vonn and Julia Mancuso who were able to get multiple awards at the 2010 Vancouver Winter games. This is the very first time Miller gets gold in the Olympics, still he is considered as one of the most accomplished skiers of our times. Aside from the gold medal, it is already the fifth Olympic award he received of his career. The first two were won at the Salt Lake City games in 2002. What made him a great athlete? 32 World Cup victories in his career!

Success did not come easy for Miller, just like aby other athletes, he has ups and downs. In 2006, he joined the Olympics but didn’t win any medals at all. Team USA now boasts 8 medals in the Alpine events, a record that surpasses the previous 1984 record of 5 medals during the Sarajevo games.
