The court has already issued an order alloweing his family to take his body home.

Previous Story:

Stephen Gately (guy on the right) was found dead in his hotel room in Majorca, Spain. Gately was the lead singer of the popular British boyband, Boyzone , during the late 1990s. He was 33 years old.

According to Towerload, a close friend said that Stephen died after going to Majorca during a Holiday vacation.

It looks like he went out for a few drinks, then got back, fell asleep and never woke up

Boyzone manager Louis Walsh said,

We’re all absolutely devastated. I’m in complete shock. I was only with him on Monday at an awards ceremony. We don’t know much about what’s happened yet

The reason of Stephen’s death has yet to be determined. Stephen Gately is survived by Andy Cowles (guy on the left), whom he married back in 2006.

We remember Stephen Gately well, together with Ronan Keating, during the glorious days of Boyzone in the late 1990s. And who could ever forget his solo albums New Beginning and I believe, which he made after the British boyband decided to go on solo projects by the year 2000.
