Brett Lorenzo Favre is an all-time favourite American football quarterback in the National Football League. He has been in the NFL for 20 years. On the fourth game of the 1992 season he played as a starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers until 2007. He was then traded to the New York Jets and started at quarterback for the 2008 season. On 2009 he signed with the Minnesota Vikings as their starting quarterback.

He has an NFL record of 290 consecutive starts and is the only player to win the AP Most Valuable Player for three consecutive times from 1995 to 1997. Right now he is caught in a web of scandal with Jenn Sterger, former Jets game day hostess. Favre met with Milt Ahlerich, NFL’s vice president of security and a former FBI agent, and it was reported by Fox that in that meeting Favre admitted leaving Sterger voicemails but he denied texting her inappropriate pictures of himself.

Sterger, on the other hand, has refused to cooperate with the NFL’s investigation as of now. If Sterger had agreed to meet with the league, NFL’s investigation will be closed to over , leaving Roger Goodell to decide on whether Favre violated the personal conduct policy and whether he will be suspended at least one game.

This whole mess occurred when Favre played for the Jets on the 2008 season while Sterger also worked for the team that season. A website named Deadspin publicized the mess last August and three weeks ago posted voicemails and pictures. If Favre gets suspended, it will be a humiliating way to end his consecutive streak.
