French Open 2010 Has Commenced!

We will all be witnessing the toughest players while testing their limit of endurance. Great tennis players will once again be having the spotlight while they fight for title and
victory at the red courts of Roland Garros. The 2010 French Open will  be the 109th edition of the tournament and the 2nd Grand Slam of the year. It will be held at Stade Roland Garros in Paris France starting May 23 to June 6, 2010.

We should be expecting great players coming from different countries to rain in the 2010 French Open. The greatest players from all over the world will amaze us all to make themselves deserving for the title and fame. Two names had already surfaced to be expected in the Womens Finals of the French Open 2010, Serena Williams and Venus Williams. On the other hand, the two best men’s players in the world are expected to have a heated match, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

While Federer is the defending champion of the open there are still who considered Nadal to be the best player of all time. Still, there will be dozens of other high ranking players heading to this year’s open who will also be trying to catch everyones attention. For the men’s single division we’ll witness the starting rounds with: Laurent Roucderc vs Robin Soderling, Janco Tipsarevic vs Alejandro Falla, Maric Cilic vs Ricardo Mello and  Venus Willams vs Patty Schnyder for women’s singles. While we expect Justin Henin to be back in the women’s division. The belgian woman had won four titles bafore taking a vacation from the game and will be appearing again after the 2007 French Open. For updates regarding the matches and winners you can check it on ESPN or your local channel.
