Though LaLanne is not that tall at 5’6″, it was said that he had a very big heart for exercise. He had encouraged people to push themselves to the limits when it comes to getting back into shape.

When he was 21, he opened his first ever fitness gym and introduced the “The Jack LaLanne Show,” both in 1951 in the San Francisco area. LaLanne was so famous among Americans not only because of being an expert of workout but also because of his encouragement to every individual that everybody deserves a good life with a fit body.
