Jazmin Carlin Beats Silver-medalist Jo Jackson in Swansea

Great Britain’s pride  Jazmin Carlin proves her  aptitude as she strike World silver medalist Jo Jackson for the second day running of  Wales National Pool in Swansea. Carlin who came from Swindon but competes for Wales in the Commonwealth Games, also won over Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington on Saturday in the 400m freestyle.

Innate ability, speed and Fate favors her luck as she swim with a record of 59.40 to defeat Jackson in the 200m freestyle. According to report, Carlin is about to practice more to grab chances of winning European Championships in August, with the national trials in Sheffield starting on 29 March to know if she will really represents the British Team. The 19-year-old swimmer told the Press after winning that she’s gaining more confidence going into the trials and she’s just really happy with her times.

There are some intriguing reports about her winning over Jackson and Adlington.  She just stated that they are all really good friends and support each other. Carlin believes that there’s still a lot to fight for in the women’s freestyle and she needs to do her best to make it to the team. Instead of dwelling into personal matters, its better to focus for the trials and see what they all can do, promising Olympic swimmer Carlin stressed.
