Miss Universe 2010 Coronation Night

Held and just concluded tonight was the greatest show on earth, the most beautiful night in 2010’s history—the Ms. Universe 2010 beauty pageant coronation night. The coronation night was held in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

As the coronation was concluded, out of the 84 contenders to the title, Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarette was crowned as the most beautiful woman in the Universe. First runner-up was Yendi Phillipps of Jamaica. Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell was hailed second runner-up followed by Anna Poslavska of Ukraine as third runner-up. Philippines’ Venus Raj was given the fourth runner-up slot.

Miss Mexico Jimena Navarette is a 22-year old standing five feet and eight inches tall who looks stunning in her gorgeous dark brown hair and eyes. She was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and is the second Mexican to win the Ms. Universe crown after Lupita Jones back in 1991.

On the other hand, special awards winners list, which was announced before the proclamation of the Top 5, is composed of Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell who got the Miss Congeniality award, and Miss Thailand Fonthip Watcharatrakul bagged two of the special awards—Best in National Costume and Miss Photogenic.
