Patricia Neal Passed Away At 84

Veteran Hollywood award winning actress Patricia Neal passed away last August 8, 2010 at the age of 84.

Patricia Neal or Patsy Louis Neal in real life was born January 20, 1926 In Packard, Whitley County, Kentucky. She was raised in Knoxville; Tennessee .She started her showbiz career in 1949 when she was 23 years old, her first movie project was “John loves Mary”.

Her appearance the similar year in The Fountainhead corresponded with her love issue with her connubial co-actor, Gary Cooper. Later on she did a motion picture with Michael Rennie with the title The Day the Earth Stood Still in 1951.

Now let us talk about her personal life, while doing the movie Fountainhead in 1949, she had an affair with actor Gary Cooper. Their relationship ended after Gary’s legal wife discovered their relationship. Patricia Neal met the British writer Roald Dahl in 1951 and got married on July 2, 1953, but decided to separate after 30 years of marriage.

They have one beautiful daughter named Lucy. In her later years, she devoted her time and energy into raising funds for brain ill-treated kids and adults. Patricia Neal died at her home in Martha’s Vineyard, August 8, 2010, of lung cancer.
