Sarah McLachlan is back with another concert tour entitled “Sarah and Friends.” The group will be invading Dallas, Houston, and Austin in Texas, Birmingham in Alaska, Biloxi in Mississippi, Nashville in Tennessee, Columbus and Cincinnati in Ohio this November 2010. McLachlan aimed for these states where most of the cancellations of Lilith Tour were made.

According to sources, the concert tour will be divided into two fractions. Old time performers of Lilith tour will take the stage with some new comers during the first part of the concert. The second half of the show will be performances from McLachlan herself featuring her greatest hits and new songs from her new album Laws of Illusion. The artist also provided slots where she and her co-performers will answer questions from the audience.

McLachlan’s new album Laws of Illusion was a collection of heartache songs according to USA Today. New York Times also commented that, “The songs are as direct as Ms. McLachlan’s have ever been, and as finely tuned…The album is as lush and measured…It’s a collection of ballads, hymns, and waltzes, sung in long arcs of melody with a voice that enfolds its strength in breathy intimacy. Acoustic instruments gleam, with unearthly keyboards and electric guitars billowing up around them.” The Grammy Awards recipient McLachlan has always been known for her emotional ballads and mezzo-soprano singing.
