Shrek Forever and After Now Showing!

In the continuing love for an ogre and a princess turned ogre, Shrek The Final Chapter came to the cinemas on May 21, 2010.

This is the fourth sequel to a cartoon movie which begun when Shrek found Fiona the princess, then an invite with Fiona’s parents to Far, Far Away Land, a search for the new successor to the throne and now this.

Movie-goers, finds Shrek Forever and After a must-see. Starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas and Cameron Diaz as Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots and Princess Fiona respectively, the Shrek the ogre was well-loved because instead of scarring villagers he has a good heart to help those in need.

But he suddenly finds himself longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” having a simple life. Thus, he is forced into signing a pact with the smooth-swaying-talking dealmaker Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek then finds himself in a different version of Far Far Away Land where ogres are hunted, where Rumpelstiltskin is king and where Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, Shrek realizes he needs to undo things in the hope of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

The movie takes an estimated 71.3 million dollars gross in its preliminary screening. See trailer below.
