The Informant Finally Debuts On HBO

A movie based true-to-life story of the early 90’s, The Informant made its first appearance on HBO on Saturday, 9pm. The Informant is an American biographical film which was out in theatres last 2009,and is a dark comedy revolving around Mark Whiteacre.

Matt Damon stars as the lead role of the movie, Mark Whiteacre. A high school graduate of Little Miami High in 1975, he later on collaborated with FBI after 17 years to expose his employer, Archer Daniels Midland who is an agri-business giant, because of a price-fixing plot he’s planning.

The movie received so much positive reviews and good feedback from its spectators. Although ranked only second during it’s premiere with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on first rank, The Informant still grossed a sum of more than $33 million domestically, and around $44 million worldwide.

It has also received so much positive feedback from websites such as Rotten Tomatoes, one of the top websites doing reviews on movies, and has been given a 77% rating. It then got an overall average of 6.8 out of 10. And now, with its premiere on HBO, the audience will definitely still give out continuous positive feedbacks on the movie just as it used to.
