Despite wowing the crowd with her tennis prowess, Venus Williams at the French open wowed the crowd with what she wore.  She was wearing a frilly black dress with bright red trim on her bodice during her first-round match against Patty Schnyder. This was more likely a dress one would go for in a cabaret show or perhaps one would audition for in a spot at Moulin Rouge the movie.

The said dress was a choice among eight to ten outfits which she normally brings to games and would necessarily choose from. She said that the dress which gave the illusion of being see-through when actually it was not. This is the tennis star’s most talked-about on-court apparel since she wore a skimpy green uniform at the Australian Open last January where she was considered as Australian hottie. She kept mum about wearing the dress again in one of her games.

Despite her wardrobe talk, Venus won with 6-3-, 6-3 in the first round of the said competition on Sunday. Will we be seeing more of her uncommon wardrobe choices next time she comes to the tennis court? Looks like all eyes are on her or is it all eyes on her dress?
