“Who do you think you are?” is a song released by the Spice Girls – an all-girl group who reached the height of their career in the late 1990’s. It is the fourth and final single in their debut album entitled Spice which was released in the UK contrary to the other three songs which were released in the US.

Two versions of the video existed during that time – the first with the Spice Girls singing and dancing in front of various colorful backgrounds and before an energetic crowd and the second a satirical version of them featuring the Sugar Lumps dancing and lip-syncing behind the actual Spice Girls. Because of the latter’s act it became the official Comic Relief song of 1997.

But the original song sure did top the charts both in the UK and in the US together with the popularity of the Spice Girls truly exhilarating.

The Spice Girls last recorded their album together in 2000 as a result of the group’s split and having to start their solo careers. However in 2006, they were reunited and managed to perform together in a concert tour. On 18 January 2010, they were nominated for a BRIT Award in the new category, “Best Performance of the 30th Year” because of their iconic performances of the singles, “Wannabe” and “Who Do You Think You Are”.
